To my fellow Americans,

As you may know I am a member of the board of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. But, did you know that one US service member commits suicide each day?

Much of this is due to Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) or Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) sustained in Iraq and/or Afghanistan. The fact is over 625,000 returning soldiers are suffering from TBI or PTS and over 60% are not even properly diagnosed. These invisible wounds of war have gone unnoticed for too long. Now is the time to make them visible.

We need your help in raising money and building awareness to build nine NICoE (National Intrepid Center of Excellence) TBI and PTS treatment centers at the military bases most impacted. 100% of every dollar donated to this mission will go toward design and construction costs, state-of-the-art equipment, treatment research and so much more.

How can YOU help? You can help spread the word. On the March 5, we will launch a powerful social media movement that will drive awareness of our mission. All we ask is that you take a few minutes out of your days over the coming weeks starting on March 5 to:

1. Tweet on Twitter about the mission. @makeitvisible
2. Friend/Like us on Facebook -
3. Forward this page to your friends and family. Ask them to do the same.
4. Donate if you can* at:

Your small efforts can make a great difference in many lives. Please take a few minutes every other day and Tweet or Facebook message using the examples provided below or creations of your own. Quite literally, your tweets, posts, emails and donations will help save the lives of those that have protected us.

Please find below Facebook and Twitter messaging suggestions. Let us know what you can do to support us by responding to this request. Supporting our troops is NOT charity, it's OUR DUTY!
